About Ivan

Ivan has worked in boutique and national law firms prior to establishing TY Lawyers. He has led a debt recovery team and acted for one of Australia’s leading insurance companies, shipping companies, and various small to medium enterprises in debt recovery and litigious matters. Ivan has also developed an expertise in conveyancing and commercial transactions in his years of practice.

Firmly committed to serving the community, Ivan serves as a radio programme host in Sydney’s leading Chinese radio Station, 2CR China Radio Network. In the 14 years on air, Ivan has hosted music, finance, economics and legal programmes. His weekly current affairs programme focusing on Australian news, politics, and economics is a high point of his work at 2CR. Apart from his duties in the Chinese community radio station, he has served as a Master of Ceremonies in many Chinese Charity Functions.

On a personal note, you can find Ivan playing the piano or singing on his time off. He has a passion for music.

About Joyce

Joyce has worked as a solicitor in boutique and national law firms prior to joining the team at TY Lawyers. She has hands-on experience in a variety of areas of law, including immigration law, family, wills and estate administration as well as property law. She has proven her ability to effectively manage a portfolio of large-scale property and commercial acquisitions, leasing and residential conveyancing matters in New South Wales and Victoria. Joyce also has experience in commercial law and immigration law. 

Joyce is a friendly and approachable lawyer who speaks your language. She pays attention to the finest details to make sure her clients' best interests are well looked after. She is passionate about the law and strives to foster positive client experience and outcomes in an efficient and professional manner. Joyce is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Sydney to enrich her knowledge and better equip herself in the legal field.

About Maggie

Maggie has extensive experience in conveyancing and migration law. Prior to joining the team at TY Lawyers, Maggie worked for many years as a migration consultant.
 
Maggie has a track record of working efficiently and effectively with her clients, solving problems swiftly in a fast-paced environment, and with a positive attitude and determination to tackle all complex legal matters at hand. Maggie is compassionate and patient when communicating with her clients and it is her top priority to provide practical solutions in all areas.
